   Artist Statement

As a doctor of psychology and inspiring, published writer, I wish all that I do brings forth a better life experience for all I touch.  I choose never to use dull or depressing colors or shapes because depression is rampant and joy is waiting to be expressed!  My art is not only therapy for those who enjoy it, but for myself.  I express spiritual qualities such as radiant health, love, abundant joy and prosperity, divine energy and wisdom, and humbly, my own inspired creativity and knowledge about life.

I create art that inspires positive energy within others as well as me on glass, canvas or any imaginable surface. I paint, maneuver, and even curdle materials such as acrylic paint, mediums that alter paint, metals of differing properties, adhesives, plastic beads, and many leafings, from genuine 24 KT gold to red and green leaf. I use symbolism at all times. There is no limit to what I might choose to help me create as a medium, a canvas, or a tool.

I use a collection of acrylic paints and mediums to create luster and other properties, metals, adhesives, and plastic beads color glass and receive a rust-proofing treatment. The process of applying vibrant colors is slow, similar to oil painting.
